OnePlus 7 Pro, priced in India at Rs 48,999, reportedly costs around Rs 22,000 to make

OnePlus 7 Pro is among the most popular smartphones in India thanks to its aggressive pricing. Now, it appears the OnePlus 7 Pro may cost less than half of that to make. A new leaked bill of materials shows the handset’s material costs amount to roughly $324.71 (about Rs 22,300) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.  T he bill of material has been leaked on Weibo and there is no way to verify its authenticity. However, the prices of some of the individual components are in line with previously leaked bills of materials. The most expensive parts of the OnePlus 7 Pro, as per the leak, are the Samsung-made AMOLED panels ($80.08 or Rs 5,490.31) and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC ($70 or Rs 4,799.22). The 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB memory costs for OnePlus 7 Pro are ($26 or Rs 1,782.57) and ($20 or Rs 1,371.21), respectively. Earlier this month, Xiaomi teased a pair of over-the-ear (OTA) headphones called Mi Super Bass. The wireless audio accessory has been launched in the country. The key highlighting features of the wireless headphones include 40 mm audio drivers and upto 20 hour music playback on a single charge. Like other Xiaomi products, the Mi Super Bass headphones are aggressively priced and cost Rs 1,799. The Mi Super Bass Wireless headphones are primarily built out of plastic while the ear cups are made out of soft foam which will provide for a comfortable fit even when worn for extended periods of time. The Pixel phones and the Google Home speakers all fall under Google's 'Made by Google' brand. This unit was started some three years ago by the company, before which Google was dabbling in other hardware like Nexus. Now, Google is ready to make its products more sustainable. In a tweet shared by the company, Google says that starting 2022, 100 percent of its 'Made by Google' products will include recycled materials and will maximize recycled content whenever possible. Google's Anna Meegan, Head of Sustainability, Consumer Hardware further wrote in the blog that by 2020, 100 percent of all the company shipments going to or from customers will be carbon neutral. Vivo S1 “coming soon” to India, reveals leaked poster

Earlier this year, Vivo had introduced S-series of smartphones in China by launching Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro handsets . Recent reports have claimed that the Chinese firm is gearing up to introduce the S-series handsets in India to target the offline markets. A teaser of the Vivo S1 smartphone has been leaked by 91mobiles . It reveals that the handset will be equipped with triple rear cameras. Nintendo  has unveiled a new Nintendo Switch called the Nintendo Switch Lite. As the name suggests, this console is a bit cheaper than the original Nintendo Switch, but it comes with a few drawbacks.
